Lonely Roads
Freelance journalist Beth Larsen is on the road, following US Route 50 eastward, chasing the strangest story of her career. She's on the trail of a mysterious late-night radio broadcast, one that tunes in at unpredictable times and places along the highway. The broadcast, which discusses strange and paranormal events from all over the country, has become an urban legend in its own right - especially because no one knows where it's coming from.
But more importantly for Beth, the voice on the radio is none other than Nessie Owen: her college best friend, who disappeared without a trace almost a decade ago and was presumed dead. Beth isn't going to end this journey until she's solved the mystery of the broadcast, and found out for sure if Nessie is still alive...and if there's some way to bring her home.
